Road Palliatives
Atmospheric dust and particulates: During blasting, excavation and transport of minerals, fine particles are released into the air. These particles may contain heavy metals and other pollutants. Mining dust can affect air quality and the respiratory health of people living near mines.
We have a number of solutions to prevent dust pollution. These solutions come in liquid form. We have palliatives that effectively suppress dust generated from: tailings facilities, primary and secondary haulage roads on mines & farms and rural roads.
These solutions are used to stabilize and suppress dust. We use application ratios to accurately dose your water bowsers according to your road conditions, ambient weather conditions, type and frequency of traffic.
LignoTemp
LignoTemp is a lignosulphonate based dust palliative. This product is primarily used on secondary haulage roads.
BioTemp
Is a Biodegradable road dust palliative that is used on secondary haulage roads. This product is environmentally friendly and is primarily used on secondary haulage roads. This is perfect for farming applications.
BituPerm
Is an emulsified Bitumen that is water soluble. This product can be used to build, stabilize and maintain primary haulage roads and rural roads.
PolyPerm
Polyperm is used to treat tailings facilities dust pollution. It is applied monthly and creates a permeable crust that prevents the dust becoming airborn. It can also be colored in order to show where the product has been applied.
